General Music Teacher
♫    Designed and implemented curriculum and music program

♫    Incorporated Kodaly and music theory skills into the general music classroom and choir.

♫    Include vocal and instrumental music with movement in lessons.  Instrumental music includes recorder, Orff instruments, and guitars.

♫    Led afterschool literacy program for 3rd – 8th grades.

♫    Directed before and after school choirs, touring the Twin Cities

♫    Chaired Responsive Classroom committee.

♫    Co-wrote a bilingual multicultural holiday musical and song for choir.

Swing Dance and Lindy Hop Instructor

♫    Competed, performed and taught lessons for Lindy Hop and Jazz dance.

 
Folksong Analysis and Retrieval Teacher
♫ Designed and implemented curriculum and lesson plans for teachers in the Kodály certification program through Midwestern State University.

♫ Led lectures on analysis of folk songs appropriate for use in the classroom, pedagogy of folk music, and retrieval and organization of material for best practices.

♫ Taught folksongs and dances from a variety of cultures representative of the United States and skills in analysis and implementation in the classroom.

♫ Graded and provided feedback to each student regarding their analysis work, retrieval and use of folk material.
